A Newer, Collaborative LMS

"Here is an example of an LMS that uses social media tools as part of collaborative course design. It allows learners to share files, ask questions and have discussions in the same great ways that they've become accustomed to on public social networks. 

Background: One of the wireless companies I worked for exclusively utilized authorized retailers to sell their products. Their retail sales staff had to complete a new hire training course prior to being issued their logins to the sales platform. Many of the authorized retailers utilized social media to keep their teams up to date on promotions, product changes or even system outages. In an effort to give our learners that same experience, we introduced informal social learning on this secure private platform, Intellum Social."
