Bridging Bloom's Taxonomy Into Your Course Design

Below is a contribution from Maria:

"A very helpful resource that I frequently reference in my organization when I work with SMEs to develop specific, measurable, and observable learning objectives is this Johns Hopkins University's video. Bloom's taxonomy provides Instructional Designers a 'framework for guiding the way they set learning goals for students and how they design their curriculum' (Rhul, C. 2021). The Bloom's Wheel, mentioned here, compliments the information presented where a colorful visual shows the alignment of each learning domains to associated action verbs with activity examples that demonstrate each domain."
