Virtual Lab Training

"I’m venturing into new territory at work- I am championing a proof of concept (POC) initiative centered around virtual training of lab methods.This type of training is typically performed using a live trainer due to the technical nature of the job; however, our trainers eventually move on to other parts of the organization leaving a gap.  

This POC will evaluate whether e-Learning can replace the need for live trainers or, at minimum, reduce the training duration. I propose using a RAD approach to get through the project faster and thought it was more applicable since I am converting a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) into a visual based e-learning module and would most likely need several prototypes for evaluation. So far, I have used Clark’s content performance matrix to create rough storyboards to drill down to sub-instructions. Having practiced this in the assignments, I feel more confident approaching this challenge and really expect great results!"
