All About Assessment

This just in from Heather:
"Okay, maybe the title is an overstatement, but I enjoy alliteration. I found an interesting article about what NOT to do when creating assessments (Links to an external site.)
by Will Thalheimer, PhD. It focuses on when learning should be measured, at what level it should be measured, and in what setting it should be measured. It makes some very good points about the way we approach the assessment piece as instructional designers.
I also found a comic about assessments (Links to an external site.)
that gave me a chuckle. It is geared to the school classroom but certainly applies to other types of learning."
