U. S. State Department Site

Alison submitted the following, stating,

"For anyone who likes to travel, the U.S. State Department has an e-learning course called So You're an American?.  I'm sharing it because I think it is a good example of an engaging and well thought out e-learning course. I especially like that after the introduction, the course offers suggestions on how to get the most out of the resource. 

I encourage all of the students I work with who will be studying abroad to explore the course.  For my classmates who are not Americans (yes, this label can be debated), you may find it interesting to see how the U.S. government teaches it's citizens about culture and cross cultural communication."
