Librarians as Instructional Designers

"Librarians as instructional designers is something that has been evolving in our field for some time now, but it hasn't always been this way! Most MLIS 'library school' programs did not and still don't include study tracks for learning how to design instruction, either face-to-face or online. Librarians have been changing this and a large body of knowledge and professionalism has been brought to the field.
