Death by PowerPoint

Sara describes this submission as follows:

"I recently came across the TED talk 'Death by PowerPoint' by international speaker, author, and coach David JP Phillips. Though he focuses on in-person presentations, his explanations and demonstrations of the five design principles to help you avoid “Death by PowerPoint” are certainly applicable to eLearning Design.

The five design principles are...
#1: One slide, one message
#2: Redundancy effect
#3: Size
#4: Contrast
#5: Objects

His humorous real-life examples really drive home these five principles. I urge you to watch his TED talk to get a sense of how to avoid the many errors speakers across the world make every day when designing PowerPoints."
