Using Technology in Writing and Literature Classrooms

Here's a new post from Courtney, who states:

"I've spend a lot of time thinking about how instructors might better engage their young students through an increasing technological/generational divide. For instance, when I taught writing courses from 2010-2014, the blogs and podcasts I created and assigned were already using old technologies (to my students), and I was only 23 when I started teaching!

I'm sympathetic with instructors who feel they can't keep up with the technology platforms their students are using, and who find it challenging to incorporate these platforms in their teaching. This short post about using technology in writing and literature classrooms is a good starting point for conversations about effectively teaching a generation of students who are using more and more platforms to engage their worlds (it also extends this week's reading by Joyce Seitzinger)."
