On Blended Learning

Nicole offers up this Ted Talk about blended learning. She says,

"This talk by Monique Markoff has a valuable explanation on blended learning. She provides examples of blended learning models and reminds us that there is not a 'best practice' because blended learning is new and there are so many different formats. She stresses the importance of learning FROM computers and not learning about computers. The interview type questions that Monique posses to schools/organizations at the end of the video is a useful model when trying to determine if they are ready for blended learning. I found this video useful in the explanation of blended learning and its importance to students of all ages (not just school students)."

Ranjeeta submitted another link regarding blended learning, stating,
"I have tried the blended learning concept with my adult learners and it worked just great. Since the adult learners have shorter span to knowledge retention I used this technique to show them on the computer as soon as the classroom session was over. I was looking to gain more knowledge on this and then I found a course on Coursera, link here.  This course had a lot of information and real life examples of blended learning from many different schools, and how well it was used and its positive outcome. It was a real good learning for me as a trainer at corporate."
