Blog on a Globalized Music Classroom

Kate submitted the following link regarding her globalized instrumental music classroom. She says,

"I have contributed to blogs myself and I have had my students keep blogs (through Kidblog since it is a 'closed' blog--for student safety.)

In my own personal experience, I have found that submitting blogs to different professional organizations allows me the opportunity to share what I am doing in my classroom (for Global Competence). For my students, I have them complete both self assessments and concert evaluations through their blogs. Sometimes the comments made to each other's blogs are more fun to read than the actual post!

Here is an example of a blog post that I was asked to submit through Asia Society to be placed in Education Week. It is a blog on how I have globalized my instrumental music classroom."
