BYOD??

This just in from Teri:
"Solving the challenges of when, where and what device employees will participate in elearning are just some of the questions my organization will be considering as we get more and more involved in elearning as a training option.
With over 3000 employees, the majority of them not working at computers, we will need to address the issue of what device they will use to access elearning.  The current trend of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) also known as Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT), Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP) and Bring Your Own PC (BYOPC) is something our organization might need to consider.
'Our organization currently allows employees to use their own device to clock their hours of work for payroll purposes, so their access is limited to that system.  Possibly access to the LMS and elearning opportunities could be set up the same way.   In this way our workforce is already following the BYOD trend.  Moving further into this area will require some careful consideration and planning.'
