This post asks the question,

David contributes this very compelling account of online learning in Medical Education, stating,
"Professor Henning of Karlsruhe University explains that most people use the internet now through their mobile phones and students even utilize this technology in order for learning purposes. Corporations use e-learning programs all the time to train their employees, so why then in the medical field is this technology not used for educating purposes?
Henning points out that he believes even the medical field will eventually catch on to the world of e-Learning because it is the youth that is now becoming professionals in the field and they want more information faster. He believes education will be dominated by video clips on the internet - whether you are trying to earn a medical degree online or just wanting to know how to fix your dishwasher, it will all be accessible through educational video clips online.
As for individuals like us, studying Instructional Design, this means plenty of career opportunities in the impending future."
