Just Where DO You Put that Job Aid?

Stephen offers some good ideas regarding Job Aids. He says, 

"The job aid is a (nearly) indispensable method/media in many learning situations. But what should they look like and where should they be located?
To be successful, Job Aids should be easily read at the place of the relevant task, ideally in a consistent location, there should be little (or no) need to hunt it down, and it should accommodate different working styles.

To make successful Job Aids, put yourself in the place (sometimes literally) of the learner, and go for non-traditional solutions - place them on:
Key fobs, 
Mouse mats, 
Desk pads, 
Pencil holders and Desk organizers,
Anywhere where habitual action happens. 

My most reliable job aid to date? An aid built into a PC screen saver and occupying a blank area of screen real estate (see image).

Now, inspired by a discussion in the UCI class a few weeks ago I am thinking about what hikers need in remote areas to help them. I’m wondering if I can develop the world’s first job aid – map, phone numbers, and first aid information - on a tee-shirt…"
